In January 2012 Millenium Print Group’s Plan of Reorganization was approved by the United States Bankruptcy Court, allowing it to emerge from bankruptcy successfully.

The Bankuptcy Attorneys at Hendren, Redwine & Malone filed Chapter 11 for Raleigh-based One Renaissance, LLC in 2011 after its lender commenced foreclosure due to loan maturity.  One Renaissance obtained a confirmed Chapter 11 Plan from the United States Bankruptcy Court in the Eastern District of North Carolina, which provided the Debtor new, affordable, long-term financing.  The company expects to emerge from Chapter 11 by the end of the first quarter of 2012.

Raleigh Based Xerium to Exit Bankruptcy

Xerium Technologies has won court approval for its prepackaged reorganization plan and expects to exit bankruptcy protection by the end of the month.  The Raleigh company on Friday also reported first quarter net sales of $135 million, up 15.9 percent from a year earlier. Xerium produces equipment used to make paper and has been hit hard by the global recession.

Triangle Development Files Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

As reported by the Raleigh News and Observer, the luxury development known as the Legacy at Jordan Lake has recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in North Carolina.

Wake County bankruptcy filings rise

As reported by the Triangle Business Journal, bankruptcy filings rose slightly in Wake County in March 2010 when compared with March 2009.  Interestingly, Wake County accounted for almost one quarter of the bankruptcy filings in the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Raleigh Industrial Textile Manufacturer Files Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

As reported by Reuters, Raleigh, North Carolina based industrial textiles manufacturer Xerium Technologies Inc on Tuesday filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in a Delaware court under a pre-arranged deal with its lenders to cut debt by about $150 million.  According to its website, Xerium has 32 manufacturing facilities in 13 countries and over 3,370 employees worldwide.

Golf course Chapter 11 bankruptcy plan approved

As reported by the Myrtle Beach Sun Times, golf course owner Mike Matheny’s reworked reorganization plan to bring Palmetto Greens Golf & Country Club and Carolina Shores Golf & Country Club out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy was approved Tuesday by a judge with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for Eastern North Carolina.

Homebuilder with North Carolina ties files Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

According to reports, Orleans Homebuilder recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection after defaulting on loans.  The homebuilder will apparently continue selling houses in several states including North Carolina while reogranizing under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
